Register to Vote or Check Your Voter Registration
In order to vote in the 2026 Town Election, you must be registered to vote in Winchester before March 11th. You can register to vote and check your registration status on the Massachusetts Secretary of State website.
All U.S. Citizens residing in Winchester above the age of 18 are eligible to vote in the Town Election. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can pre-register to vote on the Massachusetts Secretary of State website to be automatically registered once you turn 18!
Vote By Mail
If you would like to vote-by-mail, you can submit an electronic vote-by-mail application on the MA Secretary of State website. Alternatively, you can fill out this paper application and return it to Winchester Town Hall. Vote-by-mail applications must be returned by March 16th.
Ballots must be received by the Winchester Town Clerk by 8:00 PM on Election Day (March 21st).
Vote Early at Town Hall
In the week leading up to election day, the Town of Winchester is offering early voting at Winchester Town Hall. You can vote early at Winchester Town Hall in the Winchester Room (1st Floor) at the following times:
Vote on Election Day at Winchester High School
On March 21st, you can vote in-person at Winchester High School from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
